Career Accomplishments: Dr. McGee-Summers served as a reading teacher for preschoolers during the summer camp session at the Center. She also served as a summer camp teacher for a religious organization. Dr. McGee-Summers is proud of the fact that she completed her dissertation and doctoral program in under 3 years. She (along with a colleague) has been accepted for presenting a paper on the impact of a dual language tutor on the reading comprehension achievement of dual language children at The Qualitative Report's 10th Annual Conference, which will be held at Nova Southeastern University early 2019.
